Nicely done. :)
What does this mean for our seeding in the ACC Tourney? I'm thinking if Miami beats GT, as they should, we get stuck playing Maryland again? I'd much rather face Miami...
Looking back at the regular season, there are two games that I really want take-backs on: Miami and Wake Forest. We lost to Miami thanks to a phantom foul, statistically bizarre free-throw shooting, and lucky desperation shots for Miami. We lost to Wake when they had a week to prepare and we had 42 hours (on the road).
No excuses, I know. But still -- those are clearly the biggest shoulda-beens.
Here's the fun thing: Had we won those two games, all else being equal, we would actually finish tied for 4th in the ACC. Amazing! My expectations are high for next year...
I am a Virginia fan and this is my Blawgg. I began life as a diehard Michigan fan, and orange joined the maize and blue in my blood when, as a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed first year, I saw my first UVA football game on a hot September afternoon.
Here you will find impassioned and monumentally biased coverage of 'Hoos football in the fall, basketball in the winter, baseball and lacrosse in the spring, and everything else when the mood strikes me.

Correct and correct. As much fun as it was beating Maryland, they're clearly the better team than Miami. I will be pulling for the Jackets today.
