Dean and Richardson have now verbally committed to Virginia
HUGE COMMIT from Brandon Phelps. I love that he chose UVA, because his father Gary Phelps is a Virginia alum. Now only if we can some how snag Curtis Grant to play linebacker for us, we'd really have an amazing recruiting class.
With Matt Bailey officially departing from Virginia's 2011 class, do you think any others will follow suit? If so, which ones are likely to move on?
No. At this point, I think everyone else is plenty solid. Only Gamble committed to Groh, and he's given every indication he committed to UVA for good.
Maybe I missed him, but do you have Cyrus Kouandjio on your board? A marriage between him and Moses could be a beautiful thing.
What's the buzz on Richardson? Is he still shopping?
Kouandjio is such an unrealistic possibility there's no point in even worrying about him. I don't think he's looking at UVA at all. O-line recruiting will wrap up with Whitmire, Smith, or both, either of which would be tremendous gets.
As for Richardson, I'm mainly just being stubborn. He still calls himself a soft commit. Once he comes out and says he's done taking visits and finished with the process and everything, then I'll move him up.
